Baylor Student Chapter of Association for Information Systems (BAIS)

BAIS is a local student chapter of the Association for Information Systems. BAIS is a professional organization for students planning careers in information systems related professions.

Purpose

BAIS provides opportunities to interact with businesses and professionals in the fields of information systems and technology. BAIS prides itself on creating social and professional relationships between students, faculty, and businesses.

Joining BAIS

If you attend an BAIS event, you can automatically become an BAIS member.

Hosted Events

BAIS hosts Information Systems & Business Analytics Career Night and partners with career services to host company information sessions. During these events, industry guests provide career advice and discuss technology trends. Leading companies such as Accenture, ExxonMobil, HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprises), KPMG, Phillips66, and Textron work with our students.

BAIS members volunteer in educational initiatives and host a social event each semester. Our volunteer activities focus on promoting Baylor University, the business school, and technical careers
